To run a mono application two things must be attended to.

  1. The application must be patched to fix the MS .NET CF signature.
    1. The application's signature can be changed by running this patch
  2. The library must be available/installed.
    1. Either the library is installed or the required DLLs are needed to be in the current directory. It is recommended to have the DLLs placed in the flash memory for better runtime performance.

Sample code used to verify mono compiled capability:
using System;

namespace testcf
class MainClass
public static void Main(string[] args)
Console.WriteLine("Hello World!");
